The Artista AV4 is a handcrafted, full-size violin for intermediate musicians ready for greater projection, tonal color, and expressive control. Made with aged European spruce and maple, each AV4 is individually graded and voiced to bring out its distinct character.

The AV4 offers a warm, clear sound with a responsive feel. It reacts to changes in bow pressure and articulation, giving players more freedom to shape dynamics and phrasing. Natural differences in the wood and hands-on craftsmanship mean that every AV4 has its own appearance and tonal personality.

A hand-applied oil varnish and light antiquing give the violin a classic, refined finish. Skilled luthiers complete the final setup and tonal adjustments in the U.S.

The AV4 comes ready to play with synthetic gut core strings, a quality wood bow, and a lightweight oblong case.
