Old Master Cello OMC5

The Old Master™ OMC5 is a master-crafted concert cello inspired by celebrated historic instruments. Individually handcrafted for professional musicians, soloists, and collectors, it offers a powerful, expressive voice with the tonal depth and responsiveness needed for demanding performance.

Each OMC5 is made with select European spruce and maple naturally aged and air-dried for 100 to 200 years. Its sound combines a rich lower register, focused midrange, and singing upper tones. Strong projection and a wide range of tonal color give the player room to shape both intimate passages and commanding solo lines.

A hand-applied antiqued oil varnish gives the OMC5 the visual character of an old-world instrument. Premium ebony fittings complete its refined appearance. Every cello receives a professional final setup in the United States, including bridge, soundpost, and tonal adjustments by experienced luthiers.
