The Artista AV9 is an individually handcrafted violin for advanced musicians seeking tonal depth, clarity, and expressive range. Positioned just below the AV10 in the Artista series, it is made from select, aged European woods and offers a mature voice with rich tonal color and confident projection.

The AV9 responds to subtle changes in bowing and dynamics, giving players the control to shape delicate phrases and powerful passages. Each instrument has its own look and tonal character, reflecting the natural variation of the wood and the care taken in its construction. Expert luthiers complete the final setup and tonal adjustments in the United States.

The AV9 features fully carved European woods, inlaid purfling, an ebony fingerboard and fittings, and a composite fine-tuner tailpiece with a Kevlar tailgut. A hand-applied oil varnish and detailed antiquing give it a distinctive, traditional appearance.

Outfitted with synthetic gut core strings, a premium wood bow, and a lightweight oblong case, the AV9 is ready for rehearsals, stage, and studio.
