The Artista AV8 is a handcrafted, full-size violin for serious musicians seeking tonal depth, responsive playability, and a distinctive voice. Made with air-dried European spruce and flamed maple aged over several decades, the AV8 offers a warm, open sound with rich tonal color and confident projection.

The violin’s responsive feel gives players control over delicate phrasing and powerful passages alike. Each AV8 has its own character, shaped by the natural qualities of its wood and the care taken in its construction. Skilled luthiers complete the final setup and tonal adjustments in the United States.

Traditional hand-inlaid purfling, an ebony fingerboard and fittings, and a lightweight composite tailpiece with a Kevlar tailgut complete the instrument. A hand-applied oil varnish with subtle antiquing highlights the beauty of the spruce and flamed maple.

The AV8 includes a well-balanced wood bow and a protective oblong case, offering a complete outfit for performance and travel.
