The Artista AV7 is a handcrafted violin for musicians seeking greater tonal depth, projection, and expressive control. Made from aged European spruce and figured maple, each AV7 is individually evaluated and graded for the sound and craftsmanship expected at this level of the Artista series.

The AV7 has a warm, clear voice with a broad range of tonal color. Its responsive feel allows subtle changes in bowing and articulation to come through, giving players the freedom to shape quiet passages and project with confidence. Because every instrument is handcrafted from naturally varied woods, each AV7 has its own appearance and tonal personality.

A hand-applied oil varnish and subtle antiquing give the violin a refined, traditional finish. Experienced luthiers complete the final setup and tonal adjustments in the U.S., preparing each instrument for performance.

The AV7 comes with synthetic gut core strings, a premium wood bow, and a protective oblong case.
