The Artista Viola AA3 is designed for musicians ready to explore greater tonal range, dynamic control, and expressive detail. Handcrafted by an individual master luthier, each AA3 has its own character and responds to the nuances of the player’s technique.

Positioned above the AA2, the AA3 uses carefully matched European woods aged 30 years or more. Attention to plate graduation and varnish work contributes to its stronger projection, smooth response across the registers, and richer tonal complexity. It offers the flexibility to blend in an ensemble while bringing clarity and presence to solo passages.

The Artista Viola Series spans AA1 through AA10. Within that range, the AA3 offers a meaningful step in refinement for students, pre-professional musicians, and performers seeking a more responsive instrument as their playing develops.
